This adventure story tells the beginnings of the legend of Robin Hood, a legend that has fascinated generations of children.
It starts when Robin Hood comes home to England after fighting for King Richard the Lionheart. He finds that his house has been taken over by the bad Prince John and his servant the Sheriff of Nottingham. Robin goes into Sherwood Forest where, along with Maid Marion, he forms a band to fight back against the bad Prince and the Sheriff and to defend the poor.
